If adventure is what you seek, Harbour Island’s three-mile long coral reefs provide some of the best diving and snorkeling in the Caribbean.  Valentine's Marina and Fox Diving are nearby providing diving, boat rentals and fishing. With Dunmore Town being the first capital of the Bahamas, historic sites and buildings abound.

        Walk or rent golf carts, motor bikes, or bicycles to investigate the island. Shopping, restaurants and the straw market is only a one-block walk away.

    Local restaurants offer a variety of island and international cuisine. Try Angela's Starfish Restaurant if you want to sample Bahamian home-cooking. Ma Ruby's restaurant is the home of Jimmy Buffet's "Cheeseburger in Paradise". The "Landing" and the "Harbour Lounge" offer great pastas, steak, seafood, as well as all the local Bahamian dishes.  For great deli meats, cheeses and sandwiches don't miss the Dunmore Deli.
